The terms of business include a provision allowing the service provider to cancel a teaching session where "personnel illness or shortage" makes the running of the session impractical. Further, it includes express provision for session cancellation by the client.
It takes account of the effects of consumer protection legislation upon providers in this marketplace. Relevant consumer protection legislation may include the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations 1999, the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008, and the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. If you will enter into contracts covered by the Cancellation of Contracts Made in a Consumer's Home or Place of Work etc Regulations 2008 (often called the Doorstep Selling Regulations), then our Doorstep Selling Add-on should be used to supplement this template.
