Sample Plumber Contract
The plumbing contract terms include a wide range of protections for the service provider. For example, there are optional provisions to deal with last minute booking cancellations, under which the supplier may charge a cancellation fee. There are also detailed provisions on the supply of materials, including a retention of title clause, so that the plumbing services supplier retains ownership of the materials until they have been paid for. Various obligations may be placed on the customer, including obligations to provide access to premises, ensure that the work area is tidy and safe, and ensure that all necessary legal consents and permits have been obtained. As well as general limitations of liability, there are specific limitations in relation to losses arising out of frozen pipes, blockages and pre-existing defects in water and heating systems.
This template includes optional provisions to assist in compliance with the Distance Selling Regulations. If the supplier will enter into contracts covered by Doorstep Selling Regulations, then our
