Sample Writing Contract

This writing services contract contains two alternative intellectual property provisions. The first is a licence to use the written work; the second is an assignment of the intellectual property rights in the written work. The difference is that under an assignment, the customer becomes the owner of the written work after it has been completed and all fees have been paid, while in the case of the licence, the supplier retains the ownership of the written work.
